That’s my story. Instead of giving up, I built a sustainable online business that allows me to work from home, care for my wife, and achieve financial stability.
My Story
My dad, a building contractor, worked well into his 70s. I figured I’d follow in his footsteps, retiring in my late 60s. But life had other plans.
Before the pandemic, I had a typical 8-to-5 job. Then, everything changed. I lost my job, and around the same time, started noticing subtle changes in my wife. Her speech was off, she struggled to find words… it was like something was slowly erasing her vocabulary.
After a long and difficult journey, we finally had an answer: Frontotemporal Dementia. It was devastating. This rare disease was slowly stealing the woman I love, making everyday tasks a struggle.
I knew I had to become her full-time caregiver. There was no going back to the corporate world. I needed a way to work from home, to be there for her, and to provide for us both.
That’s when I decided to build an online business. I started with affiliate marketing, chasing launch after launch. But between keeping up with new products, building my email list, and caring for my wife, it was overwhelming.
Now, I focus on the “Anti-Launch” approach. I promote a small number of valuable evergreen products, which allows me to:
- Work from home and care for my wife.
- Generate a sustainable income.
- Find balance and manage stress.
